State of Placelessness

I frequently talk about everyone's path and their trajectory in life, and I am now finding myself looking into my path in life now more than ever. I was settled, I was comfortable, I was locked in as a teacher solidified in the community. Living on my own, paying bills, budgeting, getting a new car, etc. I was living a "grown up" life. After my job was cut I have found myself looking into an entirely new path. Now I am not saying that my old path has discontinued as I am hoping to eventually find my way back to it, but I am saying that this period in my life is going to be dubbed as the exploration portion of my life. It is this weird sense of placelessness, and in this state I often think back on all the facebook posts I had read previously about stages of lives. Everyone is at their own pace and no pace is better or worse, it just takes some people longer to wander into their position in life. This was a frustrating concept to me at first because I had everything so figured out and I was in my stride, however, I can now say that I have truly looked at this as an almost necessary part of my path in life. I never want to be one thing, I want to continually grow and experience new things. With that in mind a great deal of my life for the next couple of years is going to be dedicated to this state of placelessness. Every chance that I get I am going to drop everything and travel, every job opportunity, every relocation, every opportunity. I am going to take this world on! So although my savings may dwindle, the life experience I will gain will be well worth it. By the end of my lifetime people are going to want to see the things I have seen, fell the things that I have felt, be captivated in the ways that I have been captivated. I am excited about life!!

So if you are wanting to experience some of these things with me I will start to post about upcoming trips. The more the merrier. Also, if you have some trips that you could use some backup with, let me know as well. I want these trips to create connections and share memories.
